Professor Guram Karazanashvili Robotic Center

The Karazanashvili Robotic Center is the first full-scale robotic surgery center in Georgia and the Caucasus.

The center was founded by Professor Guram Karazanashvili – an internationally recognized urologist and onco-urologist, and the founder of robotic surgery in Georgia and the Caucasus.

Two robotic technologies are brought together in one place only at the Karazanashvili Robotic Center: TOUMAI for the most complex surgical operations and FOCAL ONE for the non-surgical treatment of prostate cancer.

The center performs robotic surgeries for prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), organ-preserving kidney surgeries, as well as the most complex robotic and reconstructive procedures of the urinary bladder and the genitourinary system. The creation of a new artificial urinary bladder using the TOUMAI robot is performed only at our center in Georgia and the Caucasus.

Patients have access to the full spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services – from unique prostate cancer screening and high-precision transperineal fusion biopsy to robotic treatment.

The center brings together 5 branches – in Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, and Zugdidi.
