It has been exactly 2 years since the introduction of robotic surgery in Georgia and the Caucasus!
For the first time in the history of Georgia and the Caucasus, an operation using robotic technologies was performed by Professor Guram Karazanashvili on February 27, 2024! This was truly a precedent-setting event in the region, because before that robotic surgery did not exist in Georgia and the Caucasus, and consequently no robotic operation had been performed.
During this period, more than 300 operations have been performed at the Karazanashvili Robotic Center.
This indicates the large scale and success of the project.
For years, patients who required complex oncological and reconstructive robotic operations were forced to seek treatment in clinics in Turkey, Israel, and Europe. For the past 2 years, innovative technology-based treatment has become possible in Georgia at the Karazanashvili Robotic Center!
